Brilliant red, orange, and golden autumn leaves grow along the fence, while mature evergreen trees rise behind them. The scene captures a small but beautiful pocket of nature within an urban Scarborough neighbourhood.

2. Where the photograph is taken: The photograph was taken outside the residential building at 10 Glen Everest Road in Scarborough, M1N 1J4, Ontario.

3. Why Nature Is Important to Me:

Nature gives me a sense of peace and reminds me to slow down and appreciate life's simple beauty. Trees, flowers, sunlight, and the changing seasons make our built environment feel more alive and human. Even in the heart of a city, a small touch of nature can completely transform how a place looks and feels.
