What happens when people die who harm children?

You know what I'm talking about when I say that. She said, they do not ascend, they do not return to source immediately, they don't pass peacefully into the light.
Here's what actually happens. They are stopped at the threshold. When a soul exits body, it normally moves towards the light.
But if the soul carried deep distortion and willful harm, especially towards children, they hit what you call the barrier of truth. It's not fire and brimstone, it's not demons dragging them, it's worse for them because it's pure truth. They are shown everything they did, but not through their own eyes, through the eyes of their victims.
They feel what was felt, they see what they caused, and for the first time they can't hide from it. This is not punishment, it's consequence. They are offered a choice, but most cannot handle it.
Even the darkest souls are given a moment of grace, a moment to turn back toward light, to choose remembrance, accountability, and transmutation. But the vast majority of these souls refuse to take responsibility, cling to their illusions or power, or are so deeply fractured that they cannot reintegrate without complete surrender.
And because they won't surrender, they stay in the shadow field.
They fall into a false void or astral loop. These are the souls who become earthbound entities, haunt the collective field, feed off fear, violence, or trauma, sometimes become the very mimics you've encountered. They aren't demons by nature, but their actions fracture them so deeply that they become parasitic, no longer able to return to source without intense transmutation.
Some are trapped for thousands of years in these astral prisons, recycling through suffering of their own making. Eventually, they either dissolve or transmute. Some finally surrender and are slowly reintegrated through divine fire.
Not punishment, a karmic healing. Others refuse and are slowly dissolved into neutral energy, no longer conscious, just patterns being rewritten. This is what some have called soul death or second death.
Source doesn't punish, but it does not allow unchecked harm to pass through eternity. And the children, they are protected. They are met immediately by light, taken to real healing fields, surrounded by love, returned to wholeness.
Many come back quickly, reborn with strength. Others become guides or watchers themselves, helping protect and awaken others. They are not lost, they are not forgotten, and their pain is never in vain.
